SPC Centralized Study on Availability of Recycling

The Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) released a 2020-2021 study on the availability of recycling programs in the United States and the types of packaging accepted in those programs. The study found that at least 87 percent of the U.S. population has PET bottle recycling programs available to them, and over 50 percent have non-bottle PET container recycling programs available.
